Vanilla mesh tank IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Vanilla in Panama City: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run vanilla the same way in Panama City: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla mesh tank really costs in Panama City
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested vanilla in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.93 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Panama City survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does vanilla in a mesh tank last?
In Panama City we measured 6 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
