Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plain sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run plain the same way in Panama City: same sub-ohm kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Panama City
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Panama.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised B/.31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.28 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for plain in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.28 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.28 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
